To describe patient outcomes after trauma pneumonectomy and identify independent factors associated with postoperative mortality
The current study including the largest number of cohorts showed that the mortality risk after trauma pneumonectomy remains high in the modern era. Our results suggest that trauma pneumonectomy should be reserved for carefully selected patients.
