Urologic Conditions

The fellow should be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the risk factors, diagnosis and management of ureteral injuries and techniques to minimize risk
• Describe the techniques necessary for repair of the ureter
• Describe the evaluation and repair of iatrogenic bladder injuries
• Describe the treatment of perinephric abscesses
• Demonstrate an understanding of the evaluation of acute scrotal pain
• Demonstrate an understanding of the management of testicular torsion
• Demonstrate an understanding of the treatment of Fournier’s gangrene as it relates to debridement of the scrotum and/or penis
