AAST Pipeline Program

5 High School students participated in the program during the 84th Annual Meeting of AAST and Clinical Congress of Acute Care Surgery. They spent the day in leadership panels, brainstorming research ideas, and participating in hands-on Stop the Bleed training. The students also connected with residents and fellows, explored surgical devices, and practiced key skills like wound packing, suturing, tourniquet application, and rib blocks. Their experience wrapped up with an exciting and immersive dissection lab.
