20forTwenty Fund - Medical Students, Residents, and Young Surgeons

AAST annual meeting scholarships (registration, four nights hotel, and $200 stipend) for medical students, residents, and young surgeons, 20 annually. 

General Fund - Early Career Investigators, International Invesitgators
  • Research Scholarships: $50,000 research scholarships for early surgeon investigators in trauma/surgical critical care and emergency general surgery, up to 4 annually.
  • Partner-Allied Scholarships: AAST partners with numerous organizations to impact the advancement of trauma care beyond our organization. Programs like the Health Policy Scholarship and Visiting Professorship Scholarship with the American College of Surgeons. For more information on these, please visit our scholarship page.
  • International Academic Mentor Scholarship
  • Associate Member Mentoring Scholarship - Currently fully funded by a generous donation by Past President David and Jill Spain.
