During this program, authors are paired with one abstract mentor to pre-review their abstract before the February 15th deadline for the AAST Annual Meeting. Mentors review the submitted abstracts to provide feedback, commentary, and constructive questions to fine-tune abstract methodology, structure, and language.
The International Academic Mentorship (IAM) scholarship is meant to bring research mentors together with international mentees, particularly those in low to middle-income countries.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide an Associate Member with a year-long, one-on-one mentorship experience with an accomplished, senior leader in the AAST.
Sounding Board pairs participants with senior AAST members for focused, one-hour conversations that offer feedback, fresh perspectives, and practical advice to help refine ideas and take the next step with confidence.
