    AAST Meeting

    Cine-Med, AAST's accreditor, designates this live activity for a maximum of 85 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Please note the 85 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits also apply to virtual attendees. 

    Note: all general sessions, lunch sessions, add-on/pre-sessions, posters, and the Military Track will be available for viewing after the meeting. Archived content will be available three days after the live session date (example, the sessions on Wednesday will be available beginning Saturday on the virtual site). Go to the left-hand side of this page, under "Dates" you can filter the days of the meeting depending on which session you'd like to watch. Please note viewing of archived content - whether you are a virtual or on-site attendee - can count towards your total CME count.

    PLEASE NOTE: In July of 2022, AAST began accrediting its educational activities with CineMed. Subsequently, AAST will not offer regulatory mandate credits or self-assessment credits moving forward. 

    Note: Beginning in 2023, The American Board of Surgery announced that it will no longer accept self-uploads of CME activities. To have your credits transferred by AAST, please ensure your profile is updated with your Date of Birth. AAST will begin transferring annual meeting CME activity to ABS beginning October 1st.  

    WTC Meeting

Please note the 22.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits do not apply to virtual attendees - the World Trauma Congress is only in person.

    To claim for both meetings:

    1. Go to AAST.org
    2. Login to the upper right-hand corner using the email you used to register for the meeting
    3. Once logged in, go the navigation header on the main page and click: 
      1. Annual Meeting
      2. 2024 On Demand Site
      3. Scroll to "Claim CME" (you must do this for both AAST and WTC)
      4. Input the number of hours you are claiming
      5. Complete the evaluation, then you will receive your certificate
