    AASTReview Program
Deadline to apply: Friday, January 3rd, 11:59 PM all timezones
In 2022 AAST began a new pilot program focused on supporting abstract submissions to the AAST Annual Meeting. Inspired by the leadership at many institutions, a select group of AAST members had volunteered to assist abstract submitters to take their abstract to the next level. We are excited to launch this program for the 2025 annual meeting!
During this program, abstract authors will be paired with one abstract mentor to pre-review their abstract before the February 15th deadline for the AAST 84th Annual Meeting. Mentors will review the submitted abstracts to provide feedback, commentary, and constructive questions to fine tune abstract methodology, structure, and language.
To opt-in to the program as a mentee, please complete your submitted abstract by Friday, January 3rd on AAST’s abstract submission site HERE. You will be contacted the second week in January once you are paired with a mentor.
Please note opting-in to this program does not guarantee you will be on 2025 AAST program. The AASTReview mentee program is open to members and non-members.
    Responsibilities of an AASTReview mentee:
    • Submit initial abstract to the AAST abstract system by January 3rd
