AAST Associate

Associate membership is open to surgical residents, fellows, and attending surgeons within 7 years of completing training**.

AAST Associate Application requirements include:

• Two letters of support from active members (2 letters of recommendation) - need to be uploaded by the applicant. Please make sure you have your sponsor and endorsers send you their letter to upload on the last page of the application. (Click here for a sponsor/endorser letter template)
• An essay outlining your interest in the field
• A current photo (in jpeg or tiff format)
• A current copy of the applicant’s curriculum vitae (Guidelines for Organizing Your CV)
• A cover letter

**After that time the associate member are required to apply as an Active Fellow in AAST to remain a member.
