  • This year's AAST annual meeting will offer a total of 62.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. 

    Regulatory Mandate Credits include:

    • 18.00 Pediatric Trauma
    • 15.50 Surgical Critical Care
    • 62.25 Trauma

    Self-assessment includes:

    • Lunch Session: Critical Care Committee: "Surgical Critical Care: Challenge the Experts": 1 Self-assessment Credit
    • Lunch Session: Military Liaison Committee: "Challenges and Opportunities for Conducting Research Studies in the Deployed Setting": 1 Self-assessment Credit
    • Lunch Session: International Relations Committee: "Global Surgery: Establishing Long-term, Sustainable, Bidirectional Programs": 1 Self-assessment Credit
    • Lunch Session: International Relations Committee: "Global Surgery: Establishing Long-term, Sustainable, Bidirectional Programs": 1 Self-assessment Credit
    • Lunch Session: "Open vs. Endovascular Approaches to Vascular Trauma - Complementary, Not Competitive": 1 Self-assessment Credit 

    You will receive an email from educationmanager@aast.org to claim your CME for the meeting. You will receive this email at the address that you used to register for the conference. An email will be sent to prompt/remind you to claim CME by the end of the day on:

    • Tuesday, September 8th
    • Friday, September 11th 
    • Sunday, September 13th
    • Monday, September 14th
    • Wednesday, September 16th
    • Thursday, September 17th
    • Friday, September 18th 

    You will have until the end of December to claim CME, and all archived content will be available on-demand in the CadmiumCD system until the end of December. You will claim your credit within your profile on the AAST website.
