What type of video chat links can you use in the booth?
-You can utilize video-chat platforms like ZOOM, GoToMeeting, or any other video-chat platform that is permitted by your institution. Premier Virtual has its own video-chat feature if you choose to use theirs instead.
Do you have to use the video chat feature in the booth?
-No, you do not have to use the video chat feature. If you want to communicate with job seekers through messaging, then you are permitted to do so.
How will recruiters log into the platform?
-Once you purchased your booth, you will get an email sent by email@example.com that will give you a link for you to register your booth on the Virtual Job Fair platform. When you get to your dashboard, you can upload your recruiters to your booth, and then set their email and password.
What is the pre-set messaging feature?
-When you create your booth, you will have an option to make some pre-set messages for your booth. This means if you have either standard questions you would want to ask potential candidates, have standard answers to basic questions job seekers might ask, or want to direct a job seeker to a website, video, or external document, you can have that already set with this feature. You can use this feature as a pre-screener for candidates or as a time-saver if you want to make pre-set answers to basic questions that you can predict potential candidates may ask.
What happens when a job seeker enters a booth?
-When a job seeker enters your booth, their profile will show up in the booth. You can click their profile and see their, picture, resume or CV, and any other additional documents that have linked to their profile. If you choose to so, you can start a conversation will them as well.
Does a recruiter(s) have to be at their booth during the entire 3-day event?
-No, you do not have to be at your booth the entire event. You can post what times you will be available for live chats at your booth. Job seekers will still be able to access links and resources that are in an institution's booth. We strongly suggest that you leave contact information in your booth so that if you not at your booth, job seekers can reach out even outside of the platform.
How can an employer access the job seeker's information after the event is over?
-Once the event is over, the employer can still log in to their account and access their booth. On the employer's dashboard, there will be an option to export a list from the event. On this list, you will have the contact information from all candidates that have entered your booth for all 3 days of the event. This information will include full name, phone number, email, and any other additional information the job seeker has attached to their profile.
Can job seekers see an institution's booth after the event is over?
-Yes, once the event is over. The job seeker will still be able to interact with everything that was left by the employer within the booth. The only feature that won't be available to the job seeker is the live video-chat and messaging feature. If your contact information is in the booth, the job seeker will still be able to access that information and contact the institution outside of the platform.
Can a job seeker reach out to an employer after the event is over?
-Yes, as long as the contact information is present in the employer's booth, the job seeker will be able to see the institution's contact information and contact them outside of the platform.
