Emory University Department of Surgery at Grady is seeking an additional surgical critical care fellow for a one year position in 2017-2018. This recently opened position is in a fully accredited ACGME Surgical Critical Care program. Options for an additional year of advanced trauma training in a busy level I urban trauma center can be discussed. Qualifications: a candidate should have completed a five year surgery residency in an ACGME accredited program. The Emory Department of Surgery at Grady covers an open mixed surgical/trauma ICU with an average daily census of approximately 30 patients and the trauma service admits over 3,000 patients annually with 25% or more victims of penetrating trauma.
