    Description: The Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center was established in 2019. It is a one-year fellowship approved by the ACGME and has received initial accreditation. The fellow(s) will be exposed to a broad range of critically injured and critically ill patients under the supervision of seven board certified surgical intensivists. In addition, the fellows will gain experience in ICU administration as well as medical student and resident education. General surgery and emergency medicine residents from an ACGME complementary training program, OhioHealth Doctors Hospital rotate in the SICU at GMC on a continuous basis. Faculty coverage is available 24/7 for supervision of fellows, and didactics are also provided at this teaching site. The volume of patients would be considered high and the clinical experience extremely diverse.
