• Demonstrate an understanding of the problem of DVT/VTE in EGD patients
• Demonstrate an understanding of the role of DVT/VTE prophylaxis in EGS
• Describe different dosing strategies and medications used in DVT prophylaxis in EGS
• Recognize the controversies and role of prolonged DVT prophylaxis in EGS
