    After so much time apart, we are looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta! The meeting begins at 8:00 AM EST on September 29th and runs through October 2nd! Reminder: All pre-sessions will be held on Tuesday, September 28th from 1:00-5:00 PM EST. Plan accordingly!
    Space at the headquarters hotel (Atlanta Hilton) is limited, therefore AAST recommends booking your accommodations as soon as possible!

    All general sessions and the add-on session, "Continuous Certification: Hot Topics, Case Challenges, and Current Literature in Trauma and EGS" (additional fee) will be available both live and On-Demand (archived) after the sessions take place.     The next Emergency Surgery Course will be happening during the 80th Annual Meeting! The remaining course dates are:
    • September 27/28th at the AAST annual meeting
    • November 12/13th held virtually

    The ESC® (joint collaboration between ESTES and AAST) aims to aid surgeons in non-trauma emergency surgery by providing the know-how and the decision-making skills necessary for daily practice. The course consists of theoretical sessions, case scenarios, and state-of-the-art videos. The course is specially designed in an interactive format from the beginning until the end. Students will receive 13.5 AMA PRA Category Level One Credits and an eSyllabus.

    American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST), Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST), and Surgical Critical Care Program Directors Society (SCCPDS) will be hosting a virtual job fair November 11-12, 2021:

    Thursday, November 11th: 9 AM to 4 PM CST
    Friday, November 12th: 9 AM to 4 PM CST
    (times subject to change)
