The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. (all time zones). The AAST Program Committee is looking forward to reviewing the trauma community’s best scientific submissions for the 2018 program. An instructional guide has been created and can be found in the 2018 Annual Meeting section of the AAST website.

- February Virtual Grand Rounds Webcast
The Virtual Grand Rounds webcast are held on Wednesday’s at 5:00 p.m. (eastern time)

- AAST Membership Applications - May 1st Deadline
The deadline to submit applications for membership for 2018 is Tuesday, May 1st, 2018. All applications must be completed online. Applicants must create an account and complete an account profile before beginning their application. Along with their application, applicants must also upload the letters of recommendation from their sponsors and endorsers. All membership application information must be uploaded to the AAST website. Letters and endorsements should not be sent to the AAST central office.
Applicants will be notified of a decision regarding their application in October 2018. For a complete list of criteria, visit the AAST website.
- 2018 Membership Dues and JTACS Subscription Payments
Have you paid your 2018 AAST membership/JTACS subscription? If you have not renewed your subscrition, online and print access will be suspended until you have submitted your 2018 dues payment. If your JTACS subscription has been suspended, you can contact Jermica or Brea at the AAST central office to make a payment and have your subscription reinstated.
- 2018 20forTwenty Annual Meeting Scholarships
The AAST Research and Education Fund would like your support in funding medical students, residents, and in-training fellows to attend the 2018 AAST Annual Meeting. Donations will be accepted through July 1, 2018—any donations received after that date will go towards scholarships for the 2019 Annual Meeting. Thanks to our generous members we’ve already raised over $13,550 since July 2017 we only need $6,449 to reach our goal of $20,000 for 2018!
