- AAST Annual Meeting & 4th World Trauma Congress Registration Opens June 8th!
Registration for the 77th Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma & Clinical Congress of Acute Care Surgery & 4th World Trauma Congress will open this month. The registration form will be available for download in June 8th. Online registration will opens June 8th. The meeting will be held September 26–29, 2018, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA. For more information about the meeting, visit the AAST website.
- AAST Annual Meeting & 4th World Trauma Congress Room Block
AAST has negotiated a block of rooms at the Manchester Grand Hyatt—the headquarters hotel of the Annual Meeting—and TWO other hotels that are within a 5-minute walk or a 10-minute drive to the Manchester Grand Hyatt.
The AAST group room rates will be honored three days prior to and three days after the Annual Meeting dates of September 26–29, 2018, based on availability. The cutoff date to receive the special AAST rate is Friday, August 24, 2018. Reservations received after the cutoff date, or after the room block fills, will be based on space and rate availability.

- Volunteer for a Committee!
AAST encourages its members to volunteer for committees. To volunteer, you MUST fill out the Committee Volunteer Form located in the Committee Section of the AAST website. Forms MUST be submitted by August 1st. Please note: the form must be completed and sent to Sharon Gautschy at AAST, by email only, with a short CV or bio sketch. If you have any questions, please contact Sharon Gautschy.
