    Scholarship,
    Awards, and Development Chair Updates:

Congratulations to Associate Members Dr. Dane Scantling, who won the poster competition, and Dr. Jason Brill, who won the quick shot competition at the annual meeting!
    • Also, a big congratulations to Associate Member Dr. Caroline Park, who is the first recipient of the inagural AAST Associate Mentor Mentorship Scholarship.

    • We are working with the Research and Education Fund Committee to reach a goal of 400 AAST donors. This is a great opportunity for the associate membership to show our support. Here is the link to donate (any amount counts!)

Communications and Social Media Chair Updates:

If you haven't already, update your information in the associate member directory. This directory gives members collaborate on multicenter studies, research projects, and to reach out to other members at institutions where you may be interested in discussing fellowship or a new faculty position. Click here to view.
    • Thank you to everyone who joined us at the happy hour at the annual meeting! Keep your eyes peeled for information about our upcoming general membership meeting in December, which will be preceded by a holiday happy hour (more trivia and prizes!).
    • As always, keep your eyes peeled for the latest updates in our quarterly newsletter and on Twitter and Instagram (traumadoctorsam).

    Give Time!
This GivingTuesday, you can do good by volunteering for AAST committees! Our committees contribute to the Annual Meeting, guest edit for JTACS and TSACO, and are our representatives to numerous organizations and institutions. Updates from each committee can be found in past newsletters, E-News, and social media!

Donate your time by joining an associate member committee or an all AAST committee. New micro-volunteer opportunities, will allow members to volunteer their time in short and convenient chunks with defined and achievable goals.

    Give Talent!
This Giving Tuesday, we want to remind AAST members that there are so many ways to fundraise with AAST. Our favorite? Showing AAST your talent! Each of our member's donated items makes on average four times the value of the item if not more! Do you have a special talent to share with AAST? E-mail Brea Sanders at breasanders@aast.org or click here to donate an auction item for Experience AAST 2022!

    Give Together!
    TAG YOU'RE IT!

    • This year, AAST is playing a game of tag! With each donation, patrons have the opportunity to “challenge” a fellow member, friend, or scholarship awardee to donate $25 or more!
    • Donate to AAST, take a snapshot, and tag your friends! It’s that easy.

    Take an #Unselfie

    • Post an #unselfie telling why you give and/or what your AAST means to you. What do you love about AAST? What makes you want to be a part of AAST? How do you want to invest in the future?
    • Use this template and tell us how AAST makes a difference!
