    Upon completion of this conference, the participant will be able to: 

    Recognize Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) and its impact on quality of life while applying evidence-based hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options 

    Advise overweight GYN patients with Co-morbidities on successful weight loss strategies beyond simple diet and exercise including use of available pharmaceuticals 

    Learn new approaches for how to better protect the female patient's bone health after menopause 

    Understand the nuances of migraine, headache, and what the gynecologist can, and should do for such a patient 

    Gain confidence in how to diagnose, evaluate and treat hair loss 

    Understand the importance of breast cancer risk assessment and risk stratification due to genetic (including dense breast) and non-genetic causes 

    Gain confidence in adhering to guidelines for breast cancer screening with 3D mammography and appropriate risk based additional screening protocols 

    Become familiar with new and upcoming aspects of contraception 

    Evaluate abnormal bleeding and distinguish disease states originating in the endometrium and myometrium 

    Adopt a holistic approach to treating overactive bladder and develop strategies for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, including surgical and non-surgical options 

    Understand what appears to be an epidemic of miscarriage, and how to explain it to patients as well as treat it 

    Add new competencies for managing menopausal symptoms, using both hormonal and non-hormonal approaches, while separating fact from fiction 

    Differentiate between low sexual desire and hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD), and appreciate how to improve both by engaging evidence-based treatments 

    Appreciate the complexities of vulvovaginitis, including the causal conditions, and derive an appropriate differential diagnosis for acute and chronic conditions with the concomitant treatment plan 

    Understand the new guidelines for cervical cancer screening, management of abnormal cervical cytology, applying the new guidelines - including recommended practice management algorithms - into clinical decision making 

    Differentiate the physiological actions of estrogens from androgens, implementing evidence-based androgen replacement paradigms for improved health and sexual function 

    Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and allied healthcare providers in clinical practice with an interest in women's health including gynecology, menopausal medicine, urogynecology, sexual health, endocrinology, internal medicine and preventive medicine.
